The Alpharetta City Council voted Monday to extend the contract of City Administrator Bob Regus for another six years.

The action comes one year before his current contract is set to expire. The contract keeps Regus' salary unchanged at $152,612.

Regus came to Alpharetta as interim city administrator in 1999 after working for Fulton County.
