Advance voting to wrap up for Forsyth County special election
Both voting locations and times have expanded for the third and final week of early/advance voting leading up to the June 16 special election in Forsyth County.
Voters can cast ballots from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Wednesday, and from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday at three locations: The Forsyth County Administration Building, 110 E. Main St., Cumming; Cumming City Hall, 100 Main St. and at the Midway Park Community Building, 5100 Post Road, Cumming.
Voters will choose a replacement for retired Cumming City Council Post 1 member Rupert Sexton. They’ll also vote on replacing Mark Hamilton as the representative for Georgia House District 24. Hamilton resigned after accepting an out-of-state job.
