$50K lottery ticket recently sold at Atlanta Publix yet to be claimed

A ticket worth $50,000 was sold in Atlanta for the May 2 Powerball drawing.

The ticket was sold at the Publix located at 4279 Roswell Road NE. Winning numbers from the May 2 drawing were 5-14-31-40-50, and the Powerball was 6.

A few days earlier, another $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold in nearby Covington. That winning ticket, from the April 28 drawing, was sold at the Shell Food Mart, located at 20 Salem Circle.

Winning numbers from the April 28 drawing were: 20-22-28-45-50 and the Powerball was 8.

Winners have not come forward to claim the prizes yet. Powerball winners in Georgia have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes.

Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is an estimated $215 million to a single annuity winner.
