Jan 15, 2015A DeKalb County celebration honoring the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. is being held Friday.
DeKalb Superintendent Michael Thurmond will deliver the keynote address for this year’s program with the theme, “Embracing Cultural Diversity through Empowerment and Education.”
The event is free and open to the public, and it will be held at 11:30 a.m. in the Maloof Auditorium at 1300 Commerce Drive in Decatur.
