Lilburn announces qualifying dates for mayor, council seats

Lilburn’s general election will be held on Nov. 3 for the offices of mayor and city council posts 1 and 2. Qualifying will begin on Aug. 31 at 8:30 a.m. and end Sept. 4 at 4:30 p.m. The qualifying fees are $150 for mayor and $105 for council members.

Only registered voters who reside in the city limits may vote in the Lilburn municipal election. The last day to register and be eligible to vote in this election will be Oct. 5. The polls will be open on election day 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Nov. 3 at Lilburn City Hall, 76 Main St.
