About 80 new homes are coming to Bethesda Church Road near Lilburn.

On Tuesday the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners approved the zoning needed for the new single-family subdivision near the intersection of Bethesda Church and Ronald Reagan Parkway. Beazer Homes plans to build the homes on nearly 30 acres.

Commissioners imposed several conditions on the development. Among them: The homes must have at least 2,400 square feet of heated floor space, and the developer must build landscaped buffers along Ronald Reagan Parkway and adjacent to Bethesda Park.
