Fulton expands library hours Wednesday

March 31, 2015

The Atlanta-Fulton County Public Library System will expand its hours beginning Wednesday.

Budget cuts forced a reduction in hours last year. But thanks to an extra $2.9 million in this year’s county budget, hours will be restored to previous levels. Fulton’s libraries will be open 1,662 hours each week, up from 996. The county also has opened three new branches over the last year.
