DeKalb town hall meetings announced

Interim DeKalb County CEO Lee May plans to meet with residents across the county to talk about DeKalb's budget, a proposed tax rate cut, police body cameras and the transition to once weekly trash pickup.

May has scheduled town hall meetings over the next month, each of which will begin at 6:30 p.m.

They will be held Tuesday at the Stonecrest Library at 3123 Klondike Road in Lithonia, July 9 at the Derwin Brown Memorial South Precinct at 2842 H.F. Shepherd Drive in Decatur, July 21 at the Mainstreet Clubhouse at 5001 Mainstreet Park Dr. in Stone Mountain, and July 23 at the East Lake YMCA at 275 East Lake Blvd SE in Atlanta.
