DeKalb libraries are taking donations for food drive

Several DeKalb County elected officials are holding a food drive for the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

Items can be donated at DeKalb libraries, including whole wheat pasta, brown rice, whole grain cereal, dried fruit, cooking oil, natural peanut butter, diapers and toiletries.

The Atlanta Community Food Bank gathers collects and distributes food to nonprofit agencies across the metro area and north Georgia.

The drive lasts through Friday.
