The number of mosquitoes found in DeKalb County that tested positive for West Nile Virus is up to 11. The mosquitoes were obtained from nine different locations in north and central DeKalb,  the county's Board of Health said.

Despite the positive testing of insects, there have no reported human cases of West Nile virus in Georgia this year.

DeKalb is also testing mosquitoes for the Zika virus, and none have come back positive. No Georgia residents have tested positive for Zika either.

Samples are obtained from a total of 27 traps throughout the county.
