Morrow will merge its E911 services with Clayton County in a move city officials say is expected to save the city several hundred thousand dollars a year.

Seven dispatchers will lose their jobs as a result of the city council’s decision. Those dispatchers handled about 10,000 calls a year. Forest Park and Riverdale remain the only two cities with their own 911 departments now.
