A boiled-water advisory remains in effect in the eastern part of Fayette County after a water-main break late Monday night. Repairs have been made to the water main at Hwy 85 South but residents in the Royal Ridge, Farrington and Old Senoia Road communities are advised to continue boiling their water for cooking and drinking until later this evening, according to authorities at the Fayette County Water System. About 120 homes in the area are affected.
