Gwinnett news: Big industrial park planned near Buford
An investment firm plans to turn 44 acres near Buford into a sizable industrial park.
McCraney Property Company announced Wednesday it had acquired the property near the corner of Lake Lanier Islands Parkway and Ga. 13 from Northeast Georgia Health System. The firm plans to develop “985 Lanier Logistics,” a complex with more than 610,000 square feet.
The property is expected to include three separate Class A industrial buildings. They will range from 167,000 to 236,000 square feet.
Ground is scheduled to be broken in mid-April, officials said.
