Woodward Academy robotics team places in top 10 percent in world

The Woodward Academy Upper School robotics team recently competed at the 2016 VEX World Championship in Louisville, Ky. Thirteen Upper School students played in a three-team alliance with high schools from Ontario, Canada, and Haverford, Pa. Woodward advanced to the semifinal round of the Arts Division, placing the Academy's team in the top 10 percent of teams in the world. The championship competition broke the world record for the largest robot competition with 1,075 teams from 30 nations participating.
