Spring Break for Atlanta Public Schools and many other metro Atlanta school districts is April 1-5, 2019. School resumes for most students on Monday, April 8, 2019.

This date for spring break is shared by Clayton County, Cobb County, DeKalb County, Fulton County and Gwinnett County, among others.

For participants in Atlanta rush-hour traffic, spring break week has generally lighter traffic, followed by potentially bad traffic the following Monday and Tuesday, as drivers get accustomed again to the school-day patterns.
