Students will pay more to attend a college in the University System of Georgia next year. The State Board of Regents set tuition Tuesday. Here are the rates for colleges popular with metro Atlanta students:

Tuition After HOPE

About 30 percent of University System of Georgia students receive the HOPE scholarship. Award payouts for the lottery-funded scholarship will increase by 3 percent next year, but students will still have an out-of-pocket expense for tuition. Here are examples for some area schools:
