For the nearly 16,000 Georgia high school seniors who applied early action to the University of Georgia, the wait ends Friday.

UGA plans to release admission decisions for those students late in the afternoon.

But what happens if your child is not among those admitted in this first round?

The AJC talked at length with a UGA admissions official about early action and what students who are not admitted can do to enhance their chances for admission in the regular decision deliberations that will occur early next year.

We have a video of that interview on the AJC Get Schooled blog. Take a look and show your teens as there are still things they can do to get into UGA.
