If your kids are among the freshmen moving into University of Georgia dorms this week, they are in rarefied company.

According to UGA, this year’s entering class is the most academically talented ever.

The average high school grade point average is 3.98, exceeding last year’s average of 3.91. The average SAT score is 1302, while the average ACT is 29, both increases over last year and substantially higher than the state averages.
