PBS recently surveyed teachers about the impact its educational programming has on classrooms, students and teachers.

One part of the survey asked 1,544 teachers how they use technology in the classroom. Here’s a list of the top seven types of technology they said they use.

1. Personal computers or laptops 81%

2. Interactive white board (e.g., SMART Board) 58%

3. Tablets/electronic readers (iPad, Kindle, etc.) 52%

4. Mobile devices (including cell phones, smart phones, iTouch devices) 41%

5. Portable lab 29%

6. Chromebooks 23%

7. Other 9%

8. None of these 1%
