Atlanta Public Schools is conducting a survey of parents, students and employees to find out what kind of calendar they want for each of the next three years.

One option would start traditional schools on a Wednesday in August and include three-day breaks in October and February by the 2015-2016 school year, while another option would start the school year on the first Monday in August and eventually include five-day breaks in October and February.

The survey can be taken online through an APS website.
