Superintendent to discuss history of race and public education

DeKalb County School District Superintendent Thurmond will talk about race and public education in a public address Wednesday at The Commerce Club of Atlanta.

The 11:30 a.m. speech comes before the 60th anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education, the historic U.S. Supreme Court order to desegregate schools.
