South Forsyth High School was ranked first overall for the fifth year in a row when students competed in the recent Region Literary Meet against North Forsyth, Central Forsyth, Lambert, West Forsyth and Milton high schools. First-place winners were: Devon Winn, Essay, Rhetorical; Brett Daise, Extemporaneous Speaking, Domestic; Connor Buehler, Extemporaneous Speaking, International; Northie Jackson, Oral Interpretation, Humorous; Emma Gullo, Oral Interpretation, Dramatic; Parker Hughes and Tyler Biehl, Oral Interpretation, Duo, and Lauren Ward, Girls Solo. Other winners were Jacob Frias, Tyler Biehl, Yonathan Perrin and Daniel Holder, Quartet, second; Caycay Kelly, Hannah Love and Sammy Fodroczi, Trio, second; Evan Sowa, Boys Solo, third; Nicole Guan, Essay, Argumentative, third; and Arjun Karanam, Essay, Personal, third.
