Some DeKalb County School District students got a surprise just before the winter break when a software company delivered gifts to students.

Avondale Elementary School partnered with Salesforce for its first Secret Snowman gift giveaway, officials said.

Dontae Andrews, the school’s principal, told district officials a parent connected to the software company helped develop the partnership.

According to the school district, each child had to write a letter in order to get a gift. On Dec. 18, a busload of Salesforce employees delivered the gifts to students.
