Jacob Turner, a Riverwood International Charter School alumnus, is one of four Rhodes College seniors to receive a Fulbright U.S. Student Award for the 2016-2017 academic year. He will travel to Argentina to be an English teaching assistant. The highly prestigious Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides grants for individually designed study or research projects or for English teaching assistantships. Turner spent the summer of 2015 as a study-abroad intern in Argentina, conducting independent research on human-trafficking legislation and preventative measures.
