Atlanta police are investigating an alleged “sexual battery incident” at an all-boys school in Atlanta.

The alleged incident involved two students at Atlanta Public Schools’ BEST Academy, district spokeswoman Kimberly Willis Green said.

It was reported today, an Atlanta Police Department spokesperson said.

Police and the school district declined to provide additional information about the allegations.

“All parents have been notified and this matter is being investigated by the Atlanta Police Department. The district takes incidents of this nature very seriously, and our number one priority remains the safety and security of our students,” Green said in a written statement.
