Nine Fulton County schools made the 2013 Governor's SHAPE Honor Roll. Gov. Nathan Deal began the program as a way to help students and teachers with issues regarding childhood obesity. The program focuses on three main criteria: physical activity, nutrition and wellness. The elementary schools that made the list are: Randolph, Birmingham Falls, Conley Hills, Oak Knoll, Ocee, Stonewall and Hembree Springs. Ridgeview Charter and Holcomb Bridge Middle School were also honored.
