New principals for Douglass, Washington high schools and other schools

June 20, 2014The Atlanta Board of Education approved the hiring of four new principals Thursday night.
They are:
- Tony Burks II – Douglass High School. Replaces former Douglass principal Eldrick Horton who resigned earlier this month.
- Tasharah Wilson – Washington High School
- Camisha Perry - Deerwood Academy
- Dawn Parker – Crim Open Campus
The new principals will start work July 1.
