The Atlanta Board of Education approved the hiring of four new principals Thursday night.

They are:

  • Tony Burks II – Douglass High School. Replaces former Douglass principal Eldrick Horton who resigned earlier this month.
  • Tasharah Wilson – Washington High School
  • Camisha Perry - Deerwood Academy
  • Dawn Parker – Crim Open Campus

The new principals will start work July 1.
