School will be back in session Wednesday for students in Atlanta city, Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton, Gwinnett and Henry counties.

Students have been out since Dec. 20 for winter break and most districts called off school Tuesday due to the frigid temperatures. Temperatures dropped into single digits Tuesday morning, and the low Wednesday is forecast to be 17 degrees. School officials urge parents to check web sites and local media reports for updates.
