Students at all but three Clayton County high schools showed improvement on ACT scores in 2016, state officials said Wednesday.
The Elite Scholars Academy is still the district’s top performing school in 2016. Students there averaged a 20.9 on the test gauging student proficiency in English, math, reading and science, just above 2016’s national average of 20.8.
Georgia reported an average of 21.1 for 2016.
Forest Park, Mount Zion and Riverdale high schools saw decreases compared to last year’s scores. Forest Park fell to 18 from 18.6. Mount Zion fell to 17.1 from 17.2. Riverdale fell to 17.6 from 17.9
