Marietta City Schools will celebrate Constitution Day Monday with a series of programs at several of its schools.

Constitution Day commemorates the signing of the U.S. Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787.

All fifth-graders in Marietta City Schools will receive pocket constitutions. Students will discuss representative democracy, have readings of the document and go over the Bill of Rights.
