Catherine Kacyvenski, the assistant principal of Marietta Sixth Grade Academy, was named by the Georgia Association of Middle School Principals as the Georgia Outstanding Assistant Principal of the Year.

“Catherine is deserving of this recognition and we are very proud of her,” said Emily Lembeck, the superintendent of Marietta City Schools. “She is an exemplary leader and a dedicated educator.”
