The Rev. Jesse Jackson will speak to Atlanta high school students Tuesday.

The civil rights leader is scheduled to address students during an assembly Tuesday at Washington High School.

He’ll talk about the importance of registering to vote and casting a ballot, according to Atlanta Public Schools officials.

Jackson is in Atlanta on behalf of the organization Rainbow PUSH Coalition, which he formed in 1996.

Washington High School enrolled 722 students last fall.
