Gwinnett school chief to discuss state of district at public meetings

Gwinnett County school leaders will be hitting the road in the coming weeks to discuss the district’s finances and future plans.

Superintendent J. Alvin Wilbanks will give a state of the school district address at five meetings throughout Gwinnett, starting March 24 through April 14. A meeting will be held within the district boundaries of each school board member.

The schedule and location of each meeting is as follows:

Each meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Language interpreters will be available at the meetings.

Principals and officials whose schools are located within the boundaries of each school board member typically attend the meetings.
