Gwinnett holds student art competition

Elementary school students from 40 Gwinnett County schools will display their art work Saturday as part of a national PTA cultural arts competition.

More than 500 entries will be displayed in six different categories: dance choreography, film/video production, literature, musical composition, photography and visual arts. The art work reflects the competition’s theme, “The World Would be a Better Place if…”

The competition will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Simpson Elementary School, 4525 E. Jones Bridge Road in Peachtree Corners.
