The Gwinnett County Board of Education set its 2020 meeting dates during its last meeting of December. Meetings take place at the J. Alvin Wilbanks Instructional Support Center, 437 Old Peachtree Road, NW in Suwanee on the third Thursday of each month with the exception of January and May.

The board’s monthly work session begins at 2 p.m. in the Executive Board Room.

At 6:15 p.m. the board convenes in the Board

Room for the Public Forum, followed by the Monthly Business Meeting at 7 p.m.

The board will go into Executive Session to discuss pending or threatened litigation with the board attorney; the acquisition of real estate; the appointment, employment, compensation, hiring,

disciplinary action, dismissal, or periodic evaluation of personnel; individual student academic performance; and student discipline appeals.
