Gov. Nathan Deal’s Education Reform Commission is looking for public input as it considers an overhaul of state funding, early childhood education, teacher pay and other school-related policies.

The group has established a new email address where people can send thoughts about proposals: erc@opb.georgia.gov.

The commission will meet Friday in Tifton and get input from teachers in South Georgia. At the end of July, subcommittees will present their recommendations for revising funding and early childhood development policies. Other subcommittees will issue their proposals later.
