A set of public and private early childhood education officials in Georgia have been picked to attend a training conference on how to develop statewide policy to assist infants and toddlers.

Georgia is one of only five states scheduled to participate in the conference. No location or date has been selected for the conference, though organizers expect it to be held this spring.

Zero to Three, a national early education not-for-profit organization, is hosting the conference and has invited officials from Georgia, Louisiana, Michigan, Rhode Island and Wisconsin.

Officials from Georgia’s Department of Early Care and Learning and the Georgia Early Education Alliance for Ready Students are expected to participate.
