Fulton schools to dismiss early due to wintry weather

Jan 22, 2016Fulton County schools will dismiss two hours early on Friday due to the winter weather advisory in effect.
The decision comes following a state of emergency announcement issued by Gov. Nathan Deal that will close state offices early Friday.
Fulton elementary schools will dismiss at 12:20 p.m., high schools at 1:30 p.m., and middle schools at 2:05 p.m. After-school and athletic events on Friday are cancelled, and on Saturday, events before 1 p.m. (including the FCS Science Fair and SAT exams) are cancelled.
School staff and central office employees will dismiss following the release of all students.
