The Fulton County School system is looking to fill 53 teacher vacancies, Scott Muri, the district’s deputy superintendent for academics told board members Tuesday evening.

Most of those vacancies are for special education teachers.

During a work session Tuesday evening, Muri told Fulton County School Board members he wanted to make public appeal to qualified, committed special education teachers.
