The Fulton County school board detailed a few of the construction projects that will be funded by SPLOST IV, which Fulton voters passed last year and is projected to raise about $500 million. Among the projects: A new elementary school planned for the College Park area in 2014; a replacement McNair Middle School is set for the 2014/2015 time frame; a new elementary school in North Fulton is planned for 2014/2015; a replacement Heard Ferry Elementary School in 2015, and a new South Fulton elementary school in 2016.
