Fulton County school board members are holding several community meetings this month in an effort to get feedback from parents about how the district is operating.

Board members have hosted these community meetings for a number of years and are believed to be one of the few school boards in the country to use such a process for gathering input.

The sessions give board members a chance to listen to residents’ views on local issues and concerns.

Board members have set the following meeting dates for September:

Linda Schultz, District 1

Sept. 17, 9:30 a.m., Roswell North Elementary School

Katie Reeves, District 2

Sept. 16, 9:30 a.m., Webb Bridge Middle School

Gail Dean, District 3

Sept. 16, 9:30 a.m., Lake Forest Elementary School

Linda Bryant, District 4

Sept. 15, 6 p.m., Westlake High School
