The Fulton County school board is scheduled to meet at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, October 18, at Dunwoody Springs Elementary School, 8100 Roberts Dr., in Sandy Spring. The session will open with a communications workshop followed by an executive session. The meeting will reconvene in public at 6 p.m. for a recognitions ceremony followed by public comment. Among the items on the agenda are a discussion of the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 School Year Calendar.
