Fulton County School Board approves tentative budget

Fulton County Board of Education

When and where: 5 p.m., May 16, 8100 Roberts Drive, Sandy Springs.

Action: The school board approved a tentative 2014 budget of $1.17 billion that includes a 3 percent salary increase for employees and a 10 percent increase in academic and athletic supplements. No furlough days were included in the budget, which will come up for final consideration on June 4.
