Clayton Elementary School in Cherokee County has started a new attendance incentive program, Attendance Hero, with monthly prizes for students with perfect attendance. The prize for perfect attendance in November was getting to see principal Abbey Philpot kiss a pig. The pig, named Norma Jean, the Beauty Queen, was accompanied by her "mom," Karen Williams, grandmother of students Caitlyn and Jamie Williams.
