Sherry Trimble, a teacher at Fair Oaks Elementary, recently won the Atlanta Falcons Green Team Ambassador competition. The competition challenged schools to create a recycling and education program. Trimble created a “cape-wearing team of students to collect recyclables everyday. The school will receive a $2,500 grant to enhance its program.
