The police chief for DeKalb County School District’s police force is on paid leave pending the outcome of an investigation into sexual harassment claims.

The district confirmed Friday via email that it was investigating Donald Smith, but would not release details, citing the ongoing investigation.

“The DeKalb County School District is in the process of investigating allegations of employee misconduct regarding Don Smith, public safety director,” the district said in a statement. “It is a personnel matter.”
