DeKalb Schools hosting back-to-school rally

The DeKalb County School District is holding a back-to-school rally Saturday, complete with live entertainment, health screenings and limited supplies for families.

The "One DeKalb" Back to School Rally will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at school district headquarters, 1701 Mountain Industrial Blvd. in Stone Mountain.

"This is the official kick-off celebration for the 2019-2020 school year -- a year in which students and educators will work together for the betterment of our community," Superintendent Steve Green said.
