The public will have one more chance to discuss plans by the DeKalb County School District to address overcrowding in the Cross Keys Cluster of schools before a decision is made in March.

District officials are holding the third public hearing at Cross Keys High School, 1626 N. Druid Hills Road NE in Atlanta on Feb. 11 at 6 p.m. Meetings have taken place at Sequoyah Middle School on Thursday and Druid Hills High School with modest turnout. During the meetings, district officials lay out plans for alleviating the overcrowding in the Cross Keys cluster of schools, which include Briar Vista Elementary, Dresden Elementary, Fernbank Elementary, Montclair Elementary, Cary Reynolds Elementary, Woodward Elementary, Chamblee High, Cross Keys High and Warren Technical schools.

The redistricting effort is the first undertaken by the county since 2011.
