Cobb County’s transition academies will hold their annual art exhibition at from 7 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 11 at The Art Station-Big Shanty. Students from Kennesaw Mountain, Osborne, Hillgrove and Pope high schools created artwork that displays what makes them smile. Tranition academies serve students who are between the ages of 19 and 22 and intellectually disabled. The Art Station-Big Shanty is located at 2050 Kennesaw Due West Rd. in Kennesaw.
