Cobb elementary school wins state chess championship

East Side Elementary recently placed first in the K-5th division of this year’s chess Scholastic Team State Championship. It was the school’s seventh state championship. Other Cobb schools that competed include Dodgen Middle School and Mount Bethel and Chatham Hill elementary schools.
